“It was a terrible shock to learn I had ballooned to 24st, I had avoided scales for years, but my consultant’s non-judgmental nature made me feel safe and accepted.
“Life has changed for the better since losing weight. My health has improved and I am so active now. I do Zumba three times a week. I walk, sometimes run, and I revel in how much more easily and comfortably my body moves.
